Warranty

Drums are warranted to the original buyer for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects.  Areas of coverage include metal parts, wood shells, and wood hoops.  Due to the nature of stained wood, finishes on shells and hoops are not warranted.  Please store and move drums in cases with the appropriate level of protection.  

Leather Bass Drum Heads are warranted for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects.  This covers the functional aspects of the head.  Cosmetic blemishes, scratches, etc., are part of the natural aging process of leather and should be revered rather than lamented.  

Republic Cymbal Company Cymbals are warranted to the original buyer for 2 years from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects.  Cracks in cymbals generally appear and grow along the lathing lines on the body of the cymbal and not on the edge or mounting hole.  

"Keyholing" is a term used to describe wear on the mounting hole of the cymbal and are almost always a result of user error.  Always use nylon cymbal mounts/inserts with felt or leather washers to insure that there is no metal in contact with the mounted cymbal.  

Cracks on the edge of a cymbal can be indicative of a dropped cymbal. Edge cracks will be reviewed on a case by case basis and are warranted at the sole discretion of Parish Drum Designs/Republic Cymbal Company.  

If a manufacturer defect occurs within 2 years from the date of purchase, please email info@parishdrumdesigns.com for instructions. Buyer will ship the affected cymbal to Parish Drum Designs for evaluation and upon approval Parish Drum Designs will return ship a replacement cymbal at no charge.  The replacement cymbal is covered under the remainder of the original 2 year warranty.
